How to send them well

   Pick the tone for the person

   Elders and family friends expect the formal message, ideally from your parents. Friends can get the short one.

   Fill in the brackets

   Change the names, dates and city, and add the guest's name where you can. A message with their name is less likely to feel forwarded.

   End with one link

   Put the schedule, venues and RSVP on one page and paste its link at the end, so the message itself can stay short.

   Follow up once

   Send the reminder message to those who have not replied, about two weeks before the first function, then call the few who matter most.
