Scope
This policy applies to visitors to our marketing website, registered hosts and co-hosts, and guests who interact with a celebration microsite or RSVP without an account. It does not govern peer-to-peer UPI payments guests make directly to a host; those are between the guest and the host's bank/UPI provider.
Data we collect
- Account and sign-in: identifiers you use with our authentication provider (for example email address or phone number), display name, and session data needed to keep you signed in securely.
- Celebration content: event details, guest lists, RSVPs (including optional public website RSVPs), schedules, uploaded photos/videos, chat and feed content, hospitality notes, and settings you save in Eventos Hub.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, approximate region, and logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
- Billing metadata: When you purchase a plan, our payment partner processes the transaction; we store order references, amounts, and receipt identifiers needed for your account. Bindal Infotech is not registered under GST; receipts are payment records only and do not show GST. We do not store your full card or UPI credentials.
How we use data
We use personal data to provide and improve Eventos Hub, authenticate users, deliver features you request, send operational emails (such as invites when configured), comply with law, and protect the service and our users.
Legal basis (India)
We aim to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: process only what is needed, be transparent, keep data secure, and honour your rights. Specific legal bases include consent (where required), performance of the service you request, and legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (for example fraud prevention).
Where data is stored
The service runs on Google Cloud infrastructure (and related Firebase services) for authentication, databases, storage, and server-side processing. Data may be processed in regions configured for your Firebase project. Hosts with compliance obligations should review those settings and their own guest notices.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Subprocessors that help us run the service (for example cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing), under appropriate agreements.
- Hosts and co-hosts you collaborate with, as needed to operate shared celebrations.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
We retain data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal claims, and audit. You may archive celebrations in-app; account-wide or full deletion may require contacting +91-9521115800support@eventoshub.com. Guests should contact the host for corrections on guest lists the host controls.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use a strong password and protect your devices.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (when applicable). Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage as needed for sign-in, preferences, and security. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.
Children
Eventos Hub is not directed at children under 18 as primary account holders. If you believe we have collected a child's data in error, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International users
If you access the service from outside India, your data may be processed in India or other regions where our infrastructure operates, as described above.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
