Planning for NRI guests and destination weddings

How to set it up

   Set the celebration's time zone

   Choose the time zone of the place where the wedding happens. Every time on the guest page shows in that zone.

   Start with the arrival day

   Add a welcome dinner, or your first function, with its date and time, so guests know which day to land.

   Fill in travel and stay

   In Stay & travel, add each guest's arrival, pickup and hotel. A guest who signs in with the phone number or email you saved for them sees their own card.

   Share the link early

   Send it as soon as the dates are fixed, so guests can book flights. The link stays the same as plans firm up.

Time zones

Times on the guest page always show in the celebration's own time zone, the local time at the venue, and the page does not convert them. That is what guests need on the day, but a guest reading the page in another country should know it.

• Say it in a pinned update, for example 'All times are India time (IST)'.
• Ask guests abroad to tap Add to calendar. Each function is saved at its exact moment, so their calendar shows it in their own local time.

Money and shagun

• Shagun on Eventos Hub goes by UPI, in rupees, straight to your UPI ID. Guests abroad can use it if they have a UPI app linked to an Indian bank account.
• Guests without UPI can still leave a wish on the page.
• Plans are priced in rupees on the website. In the Android app, Google Play shows its own price in the local currency.

For a destination wedding

• Add each venue with its map link, and put boat, shuttle or pickup times in its notes.
• Add a farewell brunch as the last function, so guests can plan their checkout.
• Mark family-only rituals private and pick the family guest list. Invited guests see them when they sign in with the phone number or email you saved for them.
